We’re almost to the end of another year. Before stepping away, we wanted to take a moment and wish you a happy holiday season! We hope you enjoy time relaxing with loved ones, reflecting on your success, and being thankful for both this year. To encourage your rest and relaxation, our team is taking a break from the blog. We’ll join you again in the new year with fresh articles and updates, but until then, enjoy a brief review of Litify’s 2022!
Earlier this year, we were thrilled to be named a “soonicorn” — or soon-to-be unicorn, when a technology company is valued at $1 billion or more — in this list of the top legaltech startups by Tracxn Emerging Startups.
Hosted by industry icon Bill Biggs, “Transforming the Culture of Law” is a partnership bringing a unique series of conversations around the business side of law to the legal community. Bill’s passion is to bring positive change and transformation to law firms and legal professionals everywhere, which aligns with the Litify mission to revolutionize legal technology and culture.
Team Litify hosted our first insurance-focused conference. It was an exciting day of connection, collaboration, and community as we brought together leaders across the insurance ecosystem to start shaping the future of claims litigation together.
Watch the full agenda on-demand in our video hub to hear from speakers like Ronna Ruppelt from CLM Alliance, Sarannah McMurtry from Acceptance Insurance, Gene Kissane from Cole Soctt & Kissane, and Dan Brunson from Wilson Elser.
We were the new kids on the “BLOC” in the CLOC exhibitor hall this year. As our first time exhibiting, our team was excited to bring our end-to-end legal operating platform to CLOC’s attendees. And we learned that legal operations professionals love the Litify Llama!
Our next-generation Time & Billing solution enables law firms to increase time capture and bill realization — improving profitability at both ends of the billing process. It’s also fully integrated into the rest of our end-to-end platform, embedding timekeeping into other daily workflows, from matter management to document generation.
Through our philanthropic arm, Litify.org, we also spent the year giving back to our communities. As a proud member of Pledge 1%, Litify donates 1% of our time, money, and resources to charitable causes every year. Ukraine relief, Kathy’s Kids, Caps for Kids, Transgender Law Center, Kids’ Chance of America, FeedingNYC, and Big Sky Bravery are a few of the organizations we were blessed to support in 2022 — and we can’t wait for 2023 to do it all over again.
ILTACON 2022 was back and better than ever. Seriously, at nearly 3,000 attendees, it was a sold-out show and the third-largest ILTACON conference! We heard non-stop talk about integrative platforms, centralized solutions, the need for collaboration in the cloud, and how all this is the future of legaltech. Legal tech blogger Bob Ambrogi summarized these key themes — and we couldn’t agree more with his insights! So much so that we also had to share how Litify has already been forging a new future for legal since we were founded back in 2016.
Six years ago, we set out to standardize how plaintiff lawyers manage matters to become more efficient. Flash forward to this year, and we are discussing advanced automation, integrations, and insights that improve case values, business performance, and culture. See how plaintiff firms are taking their businesses to new heights through the power of technology and real-time data.
Last, but certainly not least, we were selected for this prestigious award in the third-annual LegalTech Breakthrough awards program. Litify was selected from more than 1,450 nominations from over 12 different countries! See what makes us the top practice management provider — or check out how we stack up against the competition in Above the Law’s Practice Management Buyer’s Guide.
Thank you again for your continued partnership and readership. We look forward to bringing you even more insights in the year(s) to come. Team Litify has a lot to be thankful for this year, including a growing roster of clients and partners, such as: Epiq, Deloitte, LawPay, The Noble Law, Sam Bernstein Law Firm, National Disability, Acceptance Insurance, Salesforce, and more.
